No princess ball gowns here! Your inside look at the gorgeous gown Christina Ricci wore for her wedding to James Heerdegen has arrived, and believe you me, it was definitely worth the wait.
The actress Tweeted out the pic seen above to her followers along with the message, “I’m sorry I have to share what @riccardotisci made for me!! #iloveyouricky!”—and we really, REALLY don’t blame her, because it is STUNNING.
The gown, designed by Givenchy creative director Riccardo Tisci, features white silk tulle, Chantilly lace, satin piping, and micro pearl embroidery; what makes it stand out, though, is the sleeves. Instead of the usual strapless, cap sleeve, or long sleeve look, Christina’s dress had three-quarter length lace sleeves with cutouts at the shoulders. Far from being casual, it lent the gown an elegant and unique air. In short: LOVE IT.
