Remember that crazy gold crown Victoria Beckham, then Adams, wore when she married David Beckham in 1999? Well, if you’ve been coveting it for the past decade and a half, you’re in luck: It could be yours—for a price, of course. (Also, how ’90s is that wedding photo? Blast from the past!)
According to Vogue UK, the crown will hit the auction block at Bonhams in London on December 5. Called the “East of Paris” coronet, it was designed by celebrity jeweler Slim Barrett and features four openwork diamonds set in an 18 carat yellow gold lattice circlet. Here’s a closer look:
It’s been exhibited at London’s Victoria & Albert Museum in 2002 and at the Antwerp Diamond Museum in 2008. Said Barrett, “Inspiration for East of Paris came from my love of Eastern design and Paris haute couture. I set out to fuse the two styles.”
It’s expected to fetch between $29,000 and $40,000; if you happen to have that kind of cash lying around, you can check out the lot’s listing on Bonhams’ website. Or, y’know, you could just get this wacky gold Betsey Johnson tiara for $78 instead. Your call.
