I don’t really follow The Bachelor or The Bachelorette, but even so, I can’t actually remember the last time one of the “relationships” created on either show actually made it all the way to the save-the-date card stage. Congratulations are therefore in order for Sean Lowe and Catherine Giudici, who not only appear to actually be in love, but moreover, who are totally on top of their wedding planning. Want a peek at their save-the-date card? Here’s the front:
For those of you who can’t decipher the looping golden script, it reads as follows: “Lovers, friends, family, and Jack Nicholson, please join Catherine Ligaya Mejia Giudici and Sean Thomas Lowe & Hologram Tupac for the wedding of the century. Our love celebration will take place on the twenty-sixth day of the first month of the two-thousand fourteenth year since we started counting time.”
This? It is hilarious and I love it. I would totally put something kooky and off-beat like this on my own save-the-date cards.
But then there is the back:
It reads, “Reception to follow ceremony, so get ready for major tomfoolery & ballyhoo.” I love this too, mostly because I think the words “tomfoolery” and “ballyhoo” are severely underutilized in today’s linguistic environment—but GOOD GRAVY THAT PICTURE IS TERRIFYING. It looks like Sean and Catherine have been attacked by a vicious polar bear-panda team who ate their faces and made their skins into suits before stealing their bicycle and riding off into the sunset. Who knows where they will appear next and what sort of havoc they will wreak? RUN! RUN FOR YOUR LIVES!
But maybe that’s just me. What do you think? Cute or creepy? Tell us in the comments!
