Seth MacFarlane Saw Your Boobs + More Memorable Moments from the 2013 Oscars
From the Seth MacFarlane opening number that wasn’t (thanks to Captain Kirk) to Adele’s stunning performance of “Skyfall,” here are all the best moments from the 2013 Oscars. Congrats to all the winners!
My big complaint about the Oscars in recent years is that a tradition has developed wherein the fun stuff has been cut in the name of saving time. While I understand this—award shows are impossibly long most of the time—it also means that they’ve become unspeakably boring. Yes, this year’s show may have been a whopping three and a half hours long; but thanks to the vision of its producers, Craig Zadan and Neil Meron, it was one of the more entertaining Oscars presentations we’ve seen in a while. Of course, if they could be this entertaining and still clock in at under three hours, that would be the best of all words, but eh, can’t have everything.
Anyhoo, in case you missed it, as always, we watch the show so you don’t have to! From an unexpected cameo in the opening number to Adele’s show-stopping performance of “Skyfall,” here are the 14 most memorable moments from the 2013 Oscars. Check out the full list of winners here, and congratulations to everyone—whether they won, lost, or were just along for the ride!
