Kristen Chenoweth kicked off Earth Month on April 1 at a tree-planting event in LA hosted by leading natural bath and body company JASON. The occasion? A celebration of the brand’s partnership with the Earth Day Network’s Canopy Project—and you can be a part of the action!
JASON was born in California in 1959 when a group of independent thinkers sought to establish a new kind of personal care for themselves and their families. They took their name from the Greek word for “healer” and rejected harsh, icky chemicals in favor of simple, healing ingredients. With a line now encompassing everything from soap and lotion to shampoo and hair styling products, JASON has kept their code and committed themselves to the idea of wholesome personal care solutions that are safe for us and our planet.
Here’s the deal: For every new Facebook fan JASON gets get during the month of April, one new tree will be planted through the Canopy Project. The Canopy Project began three years ago, and since then, they’ve been helping plant trees where they’re needed most. From Australia to Japan and from Mexico to the Netherlands, the Canopy Project has been making the world a better place one tree at a time. All you have to do to help out is to go to JASON’s Facebook page and click “like.” Every little bit helps!
