If you’re as obsessed with Baz Luhrmann’s upcoming The Great Gatsby remake as we are (the Betty team has got the trailers memorized by now), you’ll swoon over Tiffany & Co.’s breathtakingly beautiful collection of Deco-themed baubles. Inspired by the lavishness of the Roaring Twenties, Tiffany’s ‘The Great Gatsby Collection’ features bejeweled headpieces, earrings, necklaces, rings, and more. Our favorite offering is the shimmering diamond and pearl headpiece that Carey Mulligan’s Daisy dons in the Gatsby movie. Sadly, this stunner will set you back $200,000, so we’ll just have to daydream about it, along with Leonardo DiCaprio.
Another of the collection’s centerpieces is the 5.25 carat diamond flower ring, which is selling for $875,000. Yes, you can keel over from price tag shock now. The rest of the line generally ranges from the tens of thousands into the hundreds of thousands, so we little people will have to win the lottery or score a movie deal (or maybe both) before we could even think about investing in a few pieces. The silver lining: Regular gals like us can deck ourselves out in baubles from Tiffany’s moderately-priced Ziegfeld Collection, which is based on 1920s styles from the brand’s archives. The classy daisy pendant is priced at $450 while the double-stranded freshwater cultured pearl necklace will set you back $1,100. Others finds range from the low hundreds to just over $1,000. If you’re in New York City, head on over to Tiffany’s Fifth Avenue location to catch the Gatsby-inspired window displays in all of their grandeur. Nowhere near the Big Apple? Click through highlights from Tiffany’s Blue Book, which includes ‘The Great Gatsby Collection’ pieces as well as one-of-a-kind additions, here. And while you’re at it, check out the premier jeweler’s video sneak peek of the gorgeous gems that’ll glisten on the silver screen next month:
