Hi Girls! I’m just having a big gay fit because I’m so excited to announce the launch of my new feature on BettyConfidential called “Ask Harvey.” How did this come about? Well, let me give you the tea and backstory …
Picture it: Two days before the Oscars and I’m just over the moon about seeing my current TV crush, Seth Macfarlane, host this grand cinema evening for the first time. Now I know he’s a little Peter Bradyish with a fresh mouth, but I adore him. Who knew he could sing and dance? I’m in love.
Anyway. During Red Carpet events my phone always blows up with important questions about hair, make up, and clothes. Around about the millionth text, I had a Betty Brain orgasm. It was like Betty herself came with a dream of the future. (By the way, Betty always looks fabulous when she comes to me in these visions.) Betty said “Harvey! If one woman has this question, don’t you think thousands of other girls want the same info?” That Betty is always right!
Ask Harvey will be my new format answering your your questions about fashion, cosmetics, hair, man drama, books, movies, gossip and any other trouble you want to send my way. You can also feel free to vent about any injustices you’re seeing in the world. After all, we’re not only gorgeous, but smart too.
How does it work? It’s easy! All you have to do is tweet your questions to me @harveyhelms and @bettybuzz, and I’ll choose the 3 questions each week so the entire girl network gets the info. If you’re a Facebook girl, friend me at Harvey Helms Beauty and then you can send them to my FB page , or post them to the BettyConfidential Facebook page!
I’m going to be using video in my column so are you ready for your star turn? Will be fab! When does it start? Today.
Tell all your girlfriends that your main gay is on it. Start tweeting in 3 … 2 … 1 … YAY!
