Breaking Bad’s Jesse Pinkman may be pretty unlucky in love, but his real life counterpart certainly isn’t—Aaron Paul finally tied the knot over Memorial Day weekend with Lauren Parsekian. Congrats to the happy couple!
According to Us Weekly, the actor and his documentarian fiancée got hitched this past Sunday in Malibu at the Calamigos Ranch’s Cottage Pavilion. The bride did her own makeup and wore a strapless, corseted white ball gown from Amsale; the groom, looking equally stylish, went for a navy tux with black lapels from Burberry. Their wedding’s theme? A 1920s carnival celebration. Love!
Accordingly, Lauren’s bridesmaids wore cream-colored dresses and long white gloves and carried parasols, while the groomsmen sported top hats. The reception included a photo booth, stilt walkers, burlesque dancers, a ferris wheel (!), a swing ride, and a performance by magician David Blaine. John Mayer also pitched in, playing “Daughters” live as Lauren danced with her father. Sounds like it was a blast. I mean, who WOULDN’T want a ferris wheel at their wedding?
After the wedding, Aaron Instagrammed this adorable photo of himself and his new bride in carnival masks. He wrote along with the pic, “A day will never go by without me reminding you how special you are. Thanks for last night my pretty little bird”:
Aaron and Lauren first met at Coachella; they began dating a year later at the same music festival, and they got engaged on January 1, 2012 in Paris. “She’s the greatest woman that has ever existed,” he told GQ last year. “No offense to other women on this planet, but she is hands down the best.”
Three cheers for the newlyweds! May you have many long and happy years together!
