Stand with your feet wider than hip-width apart. Bend your knees and squat down as if you were sitting in a chair, until your thighs are parallel with the floor. Keep your abdominal muscles tight and your torso as straight as possible without putting stress on your back. Make sure your knees don’t shoot past your toes. Stand up to return to starting position. Repeat. Do two to three sets of 12 reps.

    Wow great article!

I love how you added pictures that makes it soooo much more helpful!

For pelvic tightening I do ATG squats and planks as well as kegels of course. Reading your article taught me some new techniques and I appreciate that. I'm going to add the leg lifts into my routine some of those other techniques seem pretty tough :P

hm.. what would you think about using a tightening cream like this one called intivar?

After my last child I just don't feel the same down there.. maybe looser that normal :(

    Any ideas?

  2. Nice article ! I agree with you that Pelvic floor muscle training exercises can help strengthen the muscles under the uterus, bladder, and bowel (large intestine). They can help both men and women who have problems with urine leakage or bowel control.
