The cover shot seen here is just one of a number of images in which Beyonce appears as a sparkling galaxy in the indie mag’s latest issue. According to the Daily Mail, the photos were actually shot two years ago; Beyonce posed for photographer Tony Duran as part of her Year of 4 album campaign in 2011, and the racy pics are only just now seeing the light of day. Sure, it looks like some Photoshop was involved—as Fashionista points out, we’re not totally sure how anyone’s left hand can possibly do that in real life—but hey, she looks bangin’. Anyone else dreaming of a going-out makeup look inspired by that glittering glow?
In the accompanying interview, Bey dishes on everything from what it’s like to be a gay icon like Judy Garland and Cher (“I’m flattered if I’m in the company of those great women. I think they love that we are bold, unafraid to love, and flaunt our sexuality and strength”) to her thoughts on the whole gluten-free fad (“I’m okay with gluten. Sunday pizza is a must for me!”). Check it out here!
