VIDEO: I Can’t Stop Listening to the Backstreet Boys’ Performance of “Show ‘Em (What You’re Made Of)” on ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live’

The Backstreet Boys celebrated the launch of their new album, 'In a World Like This,' by performing a few numbers on 'Jimmy Kimmel Live' this week. P.S. AJ's daughter is ADORABLE!

Wow, man. The Backstreet Boys really are back, aren’t they? They’ve been touring since May, their eighth studio album, In a World Like This, just dropped on July 30… and now I can’t stop listening to this video of them performing the song “Show ‘Em (What You’re Made Of)” on Jimmy Kimmel Live. Seriously, I just listened to it three times back to back.

Kevin, AJ, Brian, Nick, and Howie took to Jimmy Kimmel’s stage on Tuesday night to perform a couple of tracks from the new album, and my goodness, am I ever awash in an evolved sort of nostalgia. Kevin revealed at the end that he and AJ (along with a little help from Morgan Taylor Reid and Mika Guillory, says the font of sometimes questionable knowledge that is Wikipedia) wrote “Show ‘Em {What You’re Made Of)” for their kids—which, of course, is ADORABLE. I’ll confess that some of the solos sound a little rough; the harmony on the chorus is lovely, though, and OMG AJ’S DAUGHTER IS THE CUTEST THING EVER. Also, I realized at about the 3:17-mark that Brian is wearing hot pink high tops. Just sayin’.

The Boys are performing in Chicago, St. Louis, and Toledo this weekend before heading up to the Great White North, AKA Canada (don’t worry—they’re coming back to the States on August 8). In a World Like This is available for download on iTunes.

And just for the funny, there’s also this:
