Jenny McCarthy’s current troubles aren’t limited to her love life. Jenny recently shut down her successful school for autistic children, Teach2Talk Academy.

“Jenny and her partner at the Academy, Sarah Scheflen, had different visions for the school and made a decision to go their separate ways. Both intend to continue on in this important mission,” Jenny’s rep told HollywoodLife.com in a statement. “Sarah and Jenny really enjoyed their time working at the Academy and feel honored that they were able to provide such high quality early intervention services to so many children with autism and other developmental disabilities.”

Jenny’s 7-year-old son Evan was diagnosed with autism in 2005, which has prompted Jenny to become an autism research advocate. A source close to the couple says that her split with Jim Carrey and the demise of the school were likely linked, though the source isn’t sure of the details.

“I don’t know who broke up with whom, but I know that for a little bit before the school fell apart Jim was going to possibly buy out Jenny’s partner so the school would be all Jenny’s,” the source told HollywoodLife.com “Then, next thing I heard, [Jenny] was moving out [from Carrey's house]… Jenny McCarthy has had…the worst two months of her life. Her school and her man all vanished in about 60 days.”

Jenny recently told KidsLA magazine that she hoped to expand her business, and open more schools across the country. Now it looks like that dream won’t come true anytime soon. (HollywoodLife.com)

  1. Jinxy says:

Jim gave her $50 million dollars 2 years ago, and bought her a 5 million dollar home to move into. Money is not the reason the school was shut down. Her lack of understanding of medical studies and simply believing what she wants to believe, promoting these ideas that are dangerous is most likely the reason her partner split with her. She still advocates not vaccinating children which is extremely irresponsible and kills infants every year. New borns cannot be vaccinated for childhood diseases the way toddlers are, so babies die from say measles which have a 21 incubation period, if an infant is expose it can be fatal. A sick child can kill babies.

Continuing to advocate something so dangerous may have been the most likely reason. Jenny became a focal point for anger from people who feel that her stance is morally and socially irresponsible.
