Kate Gosselin

We saw her marriage fall apart on the reality show Jon & Kate Plus 8, but Kate Gosselin really wants to send the message home about why her marriage failed by writing a book about the whole ordeal. Or is this her way of getting back at ex-husband Jon?

The mommy of eight and the recent guest host for The View talked to fans last week at the Southern Women’s Show in Charlotte. During the question and answer segment between her and the audience, Kate revealed that she thinks a career as a talk show host is in her future, that she has a cookbook coming out this fall, and that she’s now considering writing a book about her failed marriage.

When asked if she misses her husband, she says yes, but it’s “The Jon I used to know.” And when one woman starting talking about her breakup with her own boyfriend, Kate replied, “I don’t think you want to talk to me about boyfriends or breaking up.” Um, right, but we want to read a book  about your marriage where you talk about those things? This woman made a television career out of bad-mouthing and verbally abusing her husband on national television, demanding, and receiving, free perks from various corporations of everything from clothing to organic food to plastic surgeries, and parading her children around like little cash-generating dolls. I’ve felt badly for Jon, and the children, since I first saw the show when the babies were still babies, and his wife treated him like he was just another baby. She is hardly a role model for anyone, in my opinion.

kate is human like the rest of us, has she made mistakes in her relationship with jon? sure. who hasn’t! nobody’s perfect, should she spend more time with her children? Yes. She also wants to make sure her children are secure financially, who wouldn’t. People contradict themselves when they criticize her for career choices, then say she should’ve not had 8 kids or planned better. People should take a look in the mirror at your own lives and families, who are we to judge others? maybe the world would be a better peaceful place if we didn’t judge people. Why does Jon get to be blameless in actions? He is no saint none of us are. Kate has apologized on the show. Everyone makes choices in life we are accountable for our own choices. Own up to them and take responsibility don’t place blame on others for your misakes. There are marriage counslers or your preacher to speak to.
