Dear ASK REAL GUYS: Can you please help me? I don’t know if my husband still loves me? He is in the Navy, currently at a training camp for two months, but every time I’ around him I feel insecure about his love–just things like when we fight he called me physco…Please help me
Avery: Any long distance relationship can be tough, and when you’re not together, each person’s mind can wander into areas of worry and insecurity. When you’re together for short periods of time, it’s tough to gauge how your relationship truly is. You may want to point out to your husband that calling you names when you are together is not going to help things. Although your husband’s time in the Navy – and in particular his two-month training camp – is probably causing him stress, I would give your relationship a chance to get back to “normal” when you are both together and getting to spend quality time together. If you are together for a significant period of time, and there is still fighting and name calling, it may be time to consider some other ways to figure out how to improve your relationship.
