According to a new Adecco USA Workplace Insights survey, an overwhelming percentage of American workers, 95 percent, believe women have made important advancements in the workplace over the past 10 years; however, the majority, 86 percent, also believe that the glass ceiling is very much alive in some shape or form.

The study also found that the younger the worker, the less likely he or she is to observe gender inequality in the workplace. While only 3 out of 10 (30 percent) Gen Y workers think women are treated worse than men, nearly half of Baby Boomers (45 percent) feel the same way.
