Steven: Insecure men are, and secure men aren't. Be careful that your independence is not an excuse to not be vulnerable, scared and intimate. Make sure that you are not putting a wall up and calling it independence. Also, everyone wants to feel that they are needed, so make sure that your independence is not a sign saying "I don't need anybody, and I don't need you." This is a turnoff to most men. Only you know the real answer to what is going on inside of you.
