Boomers Pave the Way for Living it Up Post 40
By: Mary Beth Sammons
Hey Boomers, thanks for paving the way! It turns out not only is there life after 40, but we can look forward to living it up over the proverbial hill.
A new AARP report surfaces a new twist on the whole aging issue, debunking the myth that Boomers - those folks now in their 50s and up - are winding down with age.
Au contraire, says Howard Byck, Vice-president of Corporate Development for AARP Services. Byck boasts Boomers are "unstoppable," and rattles off a bunch cool survey results that prove the over-40 set is savvier and sexier than ever.
What's more, it seems that as Boomers age, their soul-searching is leading to a lot of re-inventing. They're mustering the willpower to accomplish things goals and dreams deemed impossible in their 20s and 30s. In fact, seventy percent of Boomers feel it's their responsibility to make the world a better place. Cheers to these savvy mid-lifers who are leading the way - with style - to what really matters.
