The Curse of the Pile

I clean it up but it just grows back!

I'm TOTALLY LOSING IT!!! I constantly cull and weed out and shuffle and stack and redistribute but no matter what THE PILE gets the best of me. No matter how small I make it, it grows back, almost overnight, like a many headed hydra of magazines, mail, school papers, the package I've been meaning to send to Amy since we got back from Cape Cod TWO MONTHS AGO, and who the hell knows what else. I seriously could chronicle the deforestation of the earth with some time-lapse photography. And this is just the kitchen pile - don't even ask about my office. WHERE DOES ALL THIS PAPER COME FROM??? I thought we were living in the electronic age!
