What's for Dinner?

"M'm! M'm! Good!"

Soupy Dish Serves Up Comfort

-Mary Beth Sammons

"M'm! M'm! Good!" are the words I love to hear when I gather my three children to the table for a family dinner night. I have tried to go green. To go Sushi. To be an organic mom.

But, in the moments when my kids make me know I am needed most, they scream a collective cry for their recipe in a can. It is our ultimate comfort food: Chicken and Rice (smothered in Campbell's soup.) Turns out that as the economy tanks, my recipe is the calming balm for Americans.

campbell's soupsIngredients:

One can Campbell's Cheddar Cheese Soup
One can Campbell's Cream of Chicken Soup
One can Campbell's Cream of Mushroom Soup
One can Campbell's French Onion Soup
One stick of Butter
One cup water
Two cups Instant Brown Rice
Four chicken breasts

Directions:

1) Melt butter

2 Mix with soups and rice

3) Brown chicken

4) Place chicken in baking dish; top with soup mixture; bake for 45 minutes at 350 degrees

Enjoy!
