The Paul Labrecque Salon & Spa has come out with the 3D facial. Nope, it’s not a glorious Technicolor movie starring you – it’s a facial that’s right out of a science-fiction movie.

The 3D facial requires three machines: Cutera Laser system, Laser Titan and Laser Genesis. In between getting zapped with lasers ala James Bond, you’ll have a microdermabrasion treatment and end the session with a collagen face mask.

All of this is done to get rid of wrinkles, fine lines, shrink pores and promote collagen growth so that your skin will be as smooth and wrinkle-free as a baby’s bottom. There’s no word on how long this facial takes, but you’d probably have to give up a day to sit there while someone’s working on your face.

The results, like all facial treatments, are temporary. So, if you want to keep looking younger longer, you’ll have to visit the salon again and again and again…. It’d probably be cheaper to invest that $1000 in plastic surgery or some really good skin care instead.

I suppose if you have that kind of money to pay $1000 for a facial and not have to worry about how it impacts your budget than it would not matter, but I’m a middle class working mother so that is way too much money for me to pay.

i’d rather age gracefully than spend that kind of money AND time!

first of all, I worked hard for my wrinkles and intend to keep them – besides the best facial in the world is from my three year old granddaughter – little kisses all over my face – makes me feel young and beautiful every time – but I do agree – if you can afford it and you honestly believe that your life will be better for it – go ahead – but I’d rather spend that $1000 on my kids -

I have to say that if I had the that much disposable income, I would book one. However I don’t have the money, so I’ll stick with the diy facial that works for me.

    That price is just ridiculous.
