4. Jim Dale – The Night Circus by Erin Morgenstern
You’ll probably recognize Jim Dale’s voice either from the US Harry Potter audiobooks or from the short-lived yet awesome television show Pushing Daisies. With deliciously vivid prose and a story full of imagination, The Night Circus is perfect for someone with Jim’s talents—no one brings a story alive better than this guy. You won’t regret picking this one up
5. John Cleese – The Inferno by Dante Alighieri
This one gets the award for Most Unexpected Narrator. If you’ve always meant to read The Divine Comedy and never quite gotten through it, maybe John Cleese can help. Though it’s possible that the ninth circles of hell may suddenly become Monty Python sketches without warning.
6. Uma Thurman – Maneater by Gigi Levangie Grazer
Literature is great and all, but sometimes, you just really need a beach read. The tale of a chews-them-up-and-spits-them-out woman and the crisis she encounters as she approaches her thirty-second birthday, Maneater definitely fits the bill, and Uma Thurman gives one heck of an entertaining read of it. Rawr!
