People’s Choice Awards: The Gorgeous, The Fierce and the … Hmmmm
Emma Stone stole the show in an emerald green tux, whilst Kelly Osbourne mystified.
-April Daniels Hussar
Color RULED the red carpet at the People’s Choice Awards Wednesday night. Over all, the dresses (and one tux) were anything but boring — love it! There were, of course, a few, how do we say … odd choices — but if this is what we have to look forward to for the rest of 2012, we can’t wait for the rest of awards show season!
Read on for the BEST (two categories: “Color-Me-Awesome” and “Sometimes black, white and neutral is the sexiest of all”), the “WEIRD BUT OK! LET’S GO WITH IT!”, and the HMMMMMM.
THE BEST: The “Color-Me-Awesome” Category
Emma Stone in a killer Gucci tux
Day-um! And look at those sassy, sexy shoes. Emma Stone KILLED it last night.
Jennifer Lawrence in Viktor and Rolf
Bold, bright and kind of weird. Perfect!
Nina Dobrev in Elie Saab
I would kind of like to buy Nina a cupcake (or eight), but I love this emerald green and the lace sleeves. If you dig her Lauren Merkin “Lucca” clutch in blush snake embossed, you can get the champagne version at laurenmerkin.com for a mere $295. (Sigh.) Nina’s also wearing some killer jewelry — green onyx and diamond “triple drop” earrings and a matching cocktail ring by J. Maderne. Here’s a close-up of the pieces for your ogling pleasure:
Ginnifer Goodwin in Roksanda Ilincic
Pink is my favorite color! Love the cagey shoes.
Colbie Smuthers in Reem Acra
Yes another vidid, fearless color, paired with that solid gold choker that is TO DIE for.
Next up — swoony dresses!
