Additionally, the 22,000-square-foot custom fortress mansion boasts eight bedrooms, a six-car garage, a weight room, a nursery for their kids, a butler’s room, and a wine cellar. A bridge connects the house’s two wings; it also features an elevator (because who the heck wants to be running up and down all those stairs all the time?) and its very own playground, complete with swings and a slide, seen above.
And here’s a closer look at the pool and spa, just for kicks:
Gisele and Tom also apparently made an effort to make the house (as enormous as it is) eco-friendly: Solar energy, energy-efficient lighting and appliances, and sustainable building materials all feature in its design. “We are excited to be using solar power as the main source of electricity in our home,” Gisele recently told People, “and we are planting our own herbs, fruits, and vegetables, which will be my favorite part of the house.”
No shots of the interior, alas; I kind of can’t help but wonder whether they’ve got a knight in the foyer guarding the front door, but maybe that’s just me.
Tell us: Would you want a moat around your house?
