If the rumors prove true, Adele and her beau, Simon Konecki, will walk down the aisle this year (cue the awws!). And of course, her throngs of devoted fans want to know who she’ll be wearing on her big day. According to recent reports, the British songstress hopes to don an ultra-feminine Jenny Packham number. Adele wore an elegant beaded gown by the designer to the 2013 Oscars.
We’re 99 percent sure we’ll swoon over whatever the 24-year-old bride-to-be chooses, but in the meantime, here are five gowns we’d love to see her wear! Who else can’t wait for Adele to ditch her trademark black?
Jenny Packham has a number of gorgeous bridal designs under her belt, but this ethereal lace number takes the cake (at least for us). Just look at those embroidered flowers and delicate sleeves. Swoon!
While this isn’t necessarily a traditional wedding gown, we fell in love with its stunning pale pink hue and intricate embroidery (which, by the way, took over 600 hours to complete!). Both the neckline and cut flatter Adele’s shape, and she could even top it off with a wispy tulle shawl. Can you say perfect?
Whether Adele would go strapless or not is debatable, but this gown by British designer Stephanie Allin is too good to pass up! We adore the princess-like skirt and the lace bodice/sleeves seem enough to hold a bustier gal in.
Adele has clearly indicated that she’s going for the princess look, and it doesn’t get any more royal than this Elie Saab gown, which was inspired by Princess Aurora and crafted for Harrods’ Christmas Installations. Though this sweeping number was a one-off, we can always dream.
Last by not least is this modest Chantilly lace column gown. The cut is reminiscent of the Valentino frock Adele sported at the 2013 Grammy Awards. So elegant, and so Adele!
