Celeb Real Estate: Peek Inside ‘Mad Men’ Costume Designer Janie Bryant’s Home
We wish we could live in ‘Mad Men’ costume designer Janie Bryant’s stylish home! Take a peek inside here.
We’re totally in love with the clothing we see on Mad Men—which got us wondering: What does the house of a person who can design such gorgeous costumes look like? Happily, it looks like we’ve just found out!
As part of their first web-exclusive photo shoot, Elle Decor recently took a peek inside the home of Mad Men’s costume designer, the incomparable Janie Bryant. Janie and her husband, tour manager Peter Yozell, live in the Los Feliz neighborhood of L.A., an affluent, hilly area in Hollywood—and we can safely say that we really, REALLY wish we lived in their house.
Noted Janie about her home’s design scheme, “I’m influenced by the 1770s and the 1970s,” with her eclectic inspirations ranging from Liberace to Elvis. With the help of interior designer Meredith Kleinman, birds, tiger prints, a vintage sofa, and more come together to strike just the right balance between—as Meredith put it—“corn and charm.”
