Wearing a UV-protecting shirt over your bathing suit shields the skin from 97 percent of the UVA/UVB rays. That’s far more than an ordinary t-shirt. My personal favorites are from Sun Precautions and I have quite a few that I take when I travel, hike, go to the beach or anytime I’m in the sun for a prolonged period of time. They are light and airy which makes them perfect for covering skin in the hot sun.
