Ashley Greene

Ouch! Looks like Ashley Greene should have grabbed  La Roche-Posay Pothelios ($19.95, laroche-posay.us). The fast acting gel contains hydrating shea butter that’s teamed with bisabolol – a natural oil with anti-inflammatory and anti-microbial properties – to calm and repair skin that’s irritated or burned by the sun.

I needed this before the weekend!

A hat and sunglasses help too. Although, looking at Kim Kardashian’s face, they’d work better with applying sunscreen first!

I’ve heard great things about LaRoche-Posay.

To be really kind to your skin, use sunscreen all year long.

You have to care for your skin consistently – once in a while won’t do it.

I keep a bottle of aloe vera gel in the fridge to help soothe my sunburns.

I use the spray solarcaine with aloe – it really numbs the burning and itching and helps prevent pealing because of the aloe. Plus it spays on so your not getting messy. And you can reach hard to get spots on your back in case you don’t have an aloe partner waiting around to slather you with aloes and lotions.

I should write the advertisements for these people – but for real, it’s the best. I’m a redhead that burns and gets sun poisoning even when I where sunscreen and reapply every hour or so. So I’ve used just about everything you can think of to relieve my burns and blisters. (But whatever you do, don’t buy the BananaBoat Solarsooth spray, it burns like a mthr fcker for like 2 minutes before it starts to cool and that’s just counterproductive if you ask me).
