According to a partial report obtained by TMZ, many different medications were found in Brittany Murphy’s bedroom when paramedics arrived on the scene.
The report came from the L.A. County Coroner’s office, but assistant chief coroner Ed Winter told Fox411 that TMZ’s report was incomplete, and he cannot confirm the information in it.
However, a law enforcement source told Fox411 that investigators are focusing on accidental overdose as a possible cause of death, since at least ten prescription medications were found in the actress’ bedroom. Some were in Brittany’s name, while others were prescribed to her husband, Simon Monjack, or her mother, Sharon Murphy.
Toxicologists are reportedly testing for heroin and cocaine due to Brittany’s alleged abuse of both drugs in the past, though no illegal drugs were found at her home.
The official cause of the Clueless star’s death will likely be revealed within six weeks. (Fox411)
