Bret Michaels is Getting Better
His condition upgraded to “stable.”
Rocker Bret Michaels, whose shocking brain hemorrhage almost killed him last week, was upgraded Tuesday from critical to stable condition, according to RadarOnline.com.
The website said that Michaels’ publicist confirmed the change in condition. But he is still in intensive care while physicians look for the source of the bleeding. It’s not known where Michaels is recovering.
The Poison frontman, who was appearing on Celebrity Apprentice, had been taken to the hospital last Thurday with an excruciating headache, where he was found to have suffered a brain hemorrhage. Michaels compared the feeling to being hit several times with a baseball bat.
Before the headache hit, according to his publicist, the hemorrhage was causing the star to have slurred speech, blurred vision and dizziness.
Michaels is no stranger to medical troubles. Two weeks ago, he had an emergency appendectomy. He is a type 1 diabetic, and he suffered a head injury last year when part of a set landed on him after he and Poison had finished playing at the Tony Awards.
Celebrity Apprentice boss Donald Trump has said his thoughts are with Michaels, whom he called “a competitor and a champion.” (RadarOnline)
