Natalie Portman graces the cover of V magazine this month with a high-impact photo shoot by Mario Testino. Inside, Natalie opens up about avoiding overexposure and her first sex scene.
“The formative time of my public image happened before there was Facebook, Twitter, all of these gossip sites,” Natalie said. “I had my drunken nights and dating a million people, but there wasn’t that attention then.
Natalie filmed her first sex scene, which she calls “extreme,” for Darren Aronofsky’s Black Swan. Though she’s spent most of her life acting, Natalie made an effort to avoid nude scenes and sex scenes – that is, until now.
“I was figuring out my own sexual identity, likes and dislikes and all that stuff, and it’s weird to be doing stuff on film as you’re figuring it out,” Natalie said. “Also, being a sexual object when you’re a kid is really uncomfortable. After The Professional, I was already getting creepy letters,” Natalie added, referring to her breakout role as a 12-year-old assassin-in-training.
Natalie’s next film, Brothers, will premiere in December. (V Magazine)
