Daily Dish: Diddy Accidentally Tosses $20,000 Ring into Crowd
Still feeling bad about that new pair of shades you misplaced last week? Hey at least it wasn’t an insanely expensive piece of bling!
During Tuesday’s BET music-video show “106 & Park” Diddy accidentally hurled a diamond-studded ring into the crowd while he was tossing hoards of cash off a Midtown studio stage, according to The Post.
The majority of the bills that went flying into the air were fake, though insiders claim that about $25 to $100 in singles were mixed in. We’re betting Diddy wishes he had simply stuck to Monopoly money, since he’s now missing a $20,000 accessory.
The rapper had security search all 160 audience members after filming concluded, and boy were they peeved.
One Twitter user who goes by the name dbaumz summed up the crowd’s reaction to the so-called frisking: “[W]hen it was over, diddy held us hostage lookin for his lost ring. dont like him no more!!!”
Like any good A-lister, Diddy took to his own Twitter account to discuss the unfortunate incident. “The craziest s- – - just happened to me lol I guess its s- – - -in on me season . . . Enjoy it while it lasts!!!!! lol life is crazy!”
Well at least he has a sense of humor about it, if it were us we’d be totally freaking out. (The New York Post)
