Here we go. With Buzz Aldrin gone there is no obvious person to go home on skill alone this week. I mean — Kate Gosselin maybe on skills, but so help me, I love watching her! It’s the most wonderfully unconceivable thing I’ve seen on DWTS.
I’ll talk about Pam Anderson first, ’cause you know I love her. She rocked! Pam nailed the dance and the performance! I usually find the rumba boring, but nothing Pam does is boring. She’s awesome and the judges loved her this week – YIPPEE! Now you all better have voted for her!
Tango hurray! Rumba boo … Sorry folks, but those dancing the tango had a lot more fun this week. It’s a harder dance, but once learned it is so much more fun. (A side note: I wish they gave scores for performance on my season. OMG, getting a performance score would have been much better for me than for technique scores.)
The first two tangos were done by our “injured” dancers. Like a true athlete, Erin Andrews said, “I just want to dance and not talk about being hurt, like the real athletes do,” but what about the five minutes spent talking about her injury before the dance?
Evan Lysacek, on the other hand (foot?), has broken toes, and he owns up to it. And he dances with a great attitude. But his dance tonight was all about partner Anna Trebunskaya. Her dress was perfection. I couldn’t take my eyes off of her!
