Fall’s Best Tights — And How to Wear Them
Our guide to the hottest hosiery trends.

The days of wearing plain tights in fall and winter are long gone. Whether you’re wearing leather, lace, chunky knits or a work suit, we have a guide to the right tights for you.
1. BLACK LACE
Creating a bit of leg interest with black lace tights adds a romantic touch to any little black dress. Lace looks equally great with pumps or booties, classic sheaths or swingy trapeze dresses.
2. SWEATER TIGHTS
This season, the designs run the gamut from cables, argyle to ribbed styles. The knitted style offers a clever way to keep your legs warm and be fashionable at the same time. Pair them with jean or cord skirts, wool shorts and bulky knit sweaters. Classic shearing boots or Hunters will complete the look.
Ripped, slashed shredded-looking black tights are the perfect contrast to leather skirts or architecturally designed dresses. Pair them with shooties for a chic tough gal look the next time you hit the club.
This animal print is now considered to be a modern classic and the small overall pattern flatters all leg types and shapes. To get maximum mileage, pair the tights with simple black heels or boots and a black skirt or dress. Since this print is eye-catching, keep details to a minimum.
