Fall hasn’t even officially started yet and the biannual ritual of Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Spring 2010 is in full force. Fashion Night Out set the tone for the week celebrating style (in high style!) – our goal is to distill the madness and bring you the trends and tricks that make the runway relevant to all.
The most important factor we’re keeping in mind is this: we may be starting to shop again, but everyone wants to SHOP SMARTER. Who has money to spend on here-today, gone-tomorrow trends? On the other hand, with spring a whole winter away, who wants to wait a whole six months before what we sigh over on the runway appears (in some form or another) in our closets? Not us!
Here’s a peek at what we’ve been up to so far:
Overheard in the tents: fashionistas talking about the new L’Oreal makeup survey. Our interest piqued, we did a little investigating – here’s the rundown: of the 4000 women ages 15 to 65 that L’Oreal surveyed, 72 percent overwhelmingly agreed that in turbulent economic times, wearing makeup helps them feel better about life!
