Four Christmases is ONE Must-See

Reese and Vince heat up this holiday season!

If Vince Vaughn is starring in a movie, you can bet I want to see it, because he is on my Top Five List. He’s tall and dark, and he’s got the humor angle I love in a man. But I have to admit, I had my doubts about this holiday flick because I simply could not envision Reese and Vince convincing audiences that they were in a relationship.

I am very happy to say that my preconceptions were way out of line on this one from the very opening scene of Four ChristmasesThey had CHEMISTRY! I was wowed!

When Brad (played by Vaughn) and Kate’s (Witherspoon) Christmas flight to Fiji is canceled due to bad weather, they’re stranded at home and are forced to visit their parents … all four sets of them. Prior to this, neither had met the other’s families. Their relationship appears flawless, and they both agree it’s because they’ve never let family get in the way.

Well, that’s all about to change! From wrestle-mania brothers, to breastfeeding sisters, one holy-roller mom, and another a cradle-robber, each family has something very unique to offer. And of course, both Brad and Kate discover interesting traits about the other that they might have never known had they continued to live in their little family-less self-indulgent bubbles.

With an all-star cast including Robert Duvall, Tim McGraw, Jon Voight, Sissy Spacek, Kristin Chenoweth, Mary Steenburgen, Dwight Yoakam this is a perfect holiday date movie – both men and women will like it for its humor and sentiment. Yes, there’s even a warm and fuzzy lesson to go along with it. You can make decisions together with someone you love, and you can grow together, change your mind and still love that person and want changes to occur.

And of course, absolutely, your family can still drive you crazy. Welcome to the holidays!
