Howard Stern and Beth Ostrosky
Despite what listeners might think of Howard Stern and his shock jock persona, the 30-year radio veteran is actually pretty timid. His wife of one year, Beth Ostrosky, reveals Howard’s not-so-dirty little secrets to BettyConfidential and admits that while he’s the self-proclaimed King of All Media, at home, Howard is the King of the Remote Control. Beth’s most surprising revelations about her husband? He’s obsessed with Twilight and Dancing With the Stars and would rather be at home on the sofa than out on the town. And despite his salacious ways on-air, Howard is one celeb who is at no risk of getting entangled in a sex scandal.

“Howard loves the fact that people would assume he would be caught in the middle of a scandal like David Letterman,” Beth tells BettyConfidential, “but he’s so far from it! He has never dated any girls that worked for him. Never.”

Beth says that Howard spends most of his time at home sitting on the couch with Beth and their “fat” English bulldog, watching TV and playing chess. “Howard’s obsessed with My Antonio on VH1. He’s saving the DVD for when I get home. We’re watching Dancing With the Stars, and I have to sit there and watch American Idol because Howard loves it! He also loves Smallville and all of the vampire shows and movies. He watches Twilight and, of course, True Blood. Now he’s started in on the new show The Vampire Diaries. “

Next on Howard’s list is the second installment of the Twilight saga, New Moon. “Howard always gets advance copies of movies. It’s one of the perks and he can’t wait to see New Moon. Whatever Howard wants, Howard gets… when it comes to TV and movies only!”

Howard had hoped that Beth would appear on Dancing With the Stars, but she passed and took another job instead. “Dancing with the Stars asked me to be on the show, but I couldn’t do it. I never want to be on the other side of that table —I’m not strong enough for it. Ironically, I don’t want to be judged but my new job is being a judge on True Beauty and that is fun! There is so much drama. The contestants are outrageous, they’re phenomenal and we did find truly gorgeous people.”
