The cast of Jersey Shore is in talks with MTV to return to Seaside for a second season, but this time, they want more booze money.

MTV initially offered each guido/guidette $10,000 to sign on and $5,000 per episode, but the offer bounced right off The Situation’s situation and back onto MTV’s desks. MTV has doubled the offer, but are still waiting for a response from the Seaside Heights crew.

TMZ claims the artists currently known as Snooki, Pauly D., JWow, etc. think they can pull in more money, and with 4.8 million people watching the season finale, they might be right.

TMZ also points out that members of the cast of The Hills make $100,000 per episode (or more!). However, it won’t be too hard to replace the gang, so they should probably watch their backs. (TMZ)

  1. Amazing how much these idiots get paid for bad behavior when people who study hard and work hard, like teachers and nurses have to struggle each day to make ends meet! Sad comment on our society.
