John Edwards Admits Fathering Rielle Hunter’s Love Child
The “most unpopular” politician finally fesses up to being Frances Quinn Hunter’s daddy.

In a last-minute attempt at damage control, John Edwards has confessed in a written statement to NBC News that he is indeed the father of Rielle Hunter’s child. Well, duh.
Edwards, who was recently revealed to be the most unpopular public figure in America today, says he’s been supporting – and will continue to do so – little Frances Quinn Hunter, both financially and emotionally.
“I am Quinn’s father. I will do everything in my power to provide her with the love and support she deserves. I have been able to spend time with her during the past year and trust that future efforts to show her the love and affection she deserves can be done privately and in peace.”
So why the change of heart? After all, Edwards has vigorously denied the paternity claims even while admitting to cheating on his wife Elizabeth Edwards with Rielle Hunter. Last year he told Nightline it was “impossible” that he was Frances Quinn’s father, and even said, of a photograph showing him holding the infant, “I don’t know who that baby is.”
RadarOnline.com reports, “Edwards wants to make his announcement before his former aide Andrew Young appears in an ABC interview and reveals how he pretended to be the baby’s father as a favor to Edwards.”
