John Mayer Gets Weepy on Stage
The careless musician apologizes for his foot-in-mouth disease.
Aww, poor John Mayer. He’s finally sort of seeing the error of his ways.
During a concert at Nashville’s Sommet Center on Wednesday evening, the world famous narcissist/womanizer issued a tearful apology to his band members (some of whom were African-American) for using the N-word in Playboy.
“In the quest to be clever,” he said, “I completely forgot about the people that I love and that love me.”
How … sweet?
Later he added, “I should have just given that up and played the guitar. I didn’t. So I decided I would try to be as clever as possible all the time, and I did that at the expense of people that I love and that feels absolutely terrible.”
