With his TV show cancelled and his marriage disintegrated, you would think that Jon Gosselin would want to avoid any more bad press, but if you believe Hailey Glassman’s lawyers, apparently the reality TV star just can’t get enough.
According to Radar Online, Hailey’s people say the break-in at Jon’s Manhattan apartment last Saturday afternoon was nothing more than a “huge publicity stunt.” Anand Ahuja, one of two attorneys representing Jon’s on-and-off girlfriend, released a statement that the burglary at the apartment that Hailey once shared with Jon might have been an attempt to frame the 22-year-old. According to reports, a nasty note from Hailey was found “stabbed” to Jon’s dresser with a butcher knife, something she has denied doing.
“There are no charges against Hailey,” Ahuja said. “I don’t think they are even considering her as a suspect in a crime. It appears that somebody, and I don’t know who that might be, or what their motive might be, is framing her. The detectives are still working on it.”
Although Jon was reportedly “devastated” by the ransacked apartment where supposedly many of his belongings were either stolen or slashed with a butcher knife, could he have possibly staged the event to keep his 15 minutes of fame alive in the New Year? (Radar Online)
