Kate Hudson and A-Rod Over?
An insider tells BettyConfidential the couple has been drifting apart since his World Series win in November.
Guess she was just a good luck charm. An insider tells BettyConfidential that Kate Hudson and Alexander Rodriguez have been going their separate ways for months now, ever since A-Rod’s team, the Yankees, won the World Series in early November. While the couple were spotted together in London in early December, friends say that after A-Rod won the title, he relocated to South Florida to be near his two young daughters — Natasha, 5, and Ella, 19 months — who live with his ex-wife, Cynthia. And the pair ended up spending less time together and drifted apart.
“Alex loves Florida’s warm weather and spends a lot of time in and around Miami in the off-season,” the insider says. “He has regular hangouts, his David Barton Gym membership and many friends down here. A lot of the other players enjoy spending time in Florida as well. They have another community down here and Kate hasn’t been as much a part of his life since the World Series win.”
Just a few months ago, a pal told BettyConfidential that the couple was even trying out living together in a house in Purchase, NY. A case of getting too serious too soon?
An insider hints that Kate’s quick attachment to Alex became a little too much for him to take when he didn’t have baseball to distract him. “They were awfully cozy during baseball season and she kind of created an instant family with him,” the source says. “They were basically living together in New York when they were both in the city and she had introduced him to her entire family, including her son, Ryder. Kate was very big on doing things as a family, including everyone and that meant Alex, too. She likes to bring you right into her family if she likes you.”
