Daily Dish: LaToya Jackson: Michael Looked “Absolutely Fabulous” for His Burial
The King of Pop’s sister dishes the details surrounding his entombment
“He wasn’t God, but he was certainly God-like. He was the closest thing to a god that I knew.”
In an especially candid interview for ABC’s 20/20, LaToya Jackson reveals that the King of Pop was dressed to the nines when he was finally laid to rest exactly 10 weeks after his untimely passing.
Michael Jackson’s body was adorned with white pearl beads and a large gold belt, “like a belt that you win being a boxer,” LaToya stated. A single white glove and a pair of sunglasses were arranged inside the casket before he was placed in a mausoleum at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Glendale, Calif.
“His hair was done beautifully,” LaToya disclosed. “His makeup was done beautifully.”
LaToya also made her feelings known on the subject of the death itself, saying that she blames “any and everybody” who provided Jackson with drugs.
“They’re doctors!” she exclaimed. “This is going against their license.”
