Lady Gaga Being Sued by Ex-Boyfriend
Lady Gaga’s ex, who also used to be her producer, is suing her for cutting him out of a lucrative career.
Lady Gaga’s ex-boyfriend Rob Fusari is suing the pop star for $30.5 million. Fusari, who Gaga’s producer at one point, claims he helped her become so successful in the beginning of her career but was not credited.
Fusari helped write “Paparazzi” and “Beautiful, Dirty, Rich” and says he helped pick out Lady Gaga’s name. He also was responsible for introducing Lady Gaga to the record executive who ended up giving her a record deal. In their professional relationship, Fusari was supposed to get 20 percent of song royalties. He’s suing Lady Gaga for this money now as well as 15 percent of merchandising revenue.
Now that Gaga is such a huge success, it seems Fusari is back to claim what he feels is his fair share. Aren’t ex-boyfriends a pain in the butt? (Yahoo! News)
