Lady Gaga Wants to Reach Out to Fellow “Freaks”
The peculiar crooner has never fit in, and she doesn’t plan to.
Ms. Marches-to-Her-Own-Beat Lady Gaga always felt like an outsider, especially during her teen years when she longed to be the next Boy George.
The songstress visited The Ellen DeGeneres Show on Friday where she chatted about doing it for all the “freaks” out there.
“I want to create a space for my fans where they can feel free, and they can celebrate,” the 23-year-old said. “I didn’t fit in in high school, and I felt like a freak. So I like to create this atmosphere for my fans where they feel like they have a freak in me to hang out with, and they don’t feel alone.”
Good on ya, Gaga! (Us Magazine)
