Try a P.M. workout. Many of us complain about not having enough time to get to the gym– and then spend the evening sat on the couch snacking and watching reality TV! Even if you exercise during the day, adding a quick evening sweat session can dramatically increase your results. New York City-based celebrity trainer Thelonious ‘T.J.’ Johnson says that doing 20 minutes of exercise will not only help you burn the day’s calories, but also clear your mind and relieve stress. “Jog around your neighborhood,” he suggests. “Take on spinning at the gym or even jump rope at home.”

Breakfast
Cheese Omelet made with 1 cup fat-free, cholesterol-free liquid egg substitute and 1 oz. reduced-fat cheddar cheese
½ whole-grain English muffin
1 small orange

Snack
1 oz. light string cheese
1 small apple

4 oz. lean pork chops baked with 1 oz. barbecue sauce
½ baked potato
1 cup baby carrots and summer squash
Salad made with 1 thinly sliced tomato, 1 oz. mozzarella cheese, 1 tablespoon basil leaves, 1 teaspoon olive oil

Dessert
1 slice store-bought angel food cake with ½ cup strawberries
