Just when you think nothing can surprise you out of Hollywood … now comes the news that Jennifer Aniston has been maintaining her enviable figure by dieting on, yes, BABY FOOD.

The diet, developed by Madonna’s ex-trainer Tracy Anderson, is apparently some sort of whacked out version of a “cleanse.” Anderson, who still trains darling Gwyneth Paltrow (who has surely been sharing food with her toddlers — now we know her secret), tells

“I developed a cleanse where you can still eat and it’s a lot of puree foods. I was very careful about the foods I chose to put in it. When you do these liquid cleanses I felt a responsibility to come up with something. Liquid cleanses do help you lose weight but you will gain more the next week. I wanted something where you can eliminate toxicity, break bad habits but still have your digestive system going. That is when the baby food cleanse was born.”

Jen reportedly lost seven pounds on the diet in an effort to get ready for a bathing suit scene in the movie she’s filming with Adam Sandler in Hawaii.

No wonder she enjoys being around her castmates’ children – she’s probably stealing their food!

Can’t you just see her now, darlings? Jennifer Aniston finishing up her morning yoga / arm-toning / Angelina-Jolie-dart-throwing-at routine and then popping open a little jar of pureed peas? Perhaps having a glop of strained pears for dessert? Do you think she uses one of those wee little rubber spoons? One thing’s for sure – there’s no doubt in Mean Betty’s mind that Jen dear only eats organic baby food – Whole Foods’ finest!

  1. This is the most absurd diet… it’s baby food, people! Not adult food, and grown women should not be eating it as meals. I’m afraid average women will start trying this now just because they heard that celebs are doing it. Could you imagine seeing a grown woman eating out of a baby food jar?

  2. We did this years ago its nothing new, but after a week the food gets boring. You can buy a little baby food maker and make your adult food into baby food and just eat smaller portions. Baby food is so much healthier than our food so whats disgusting about this? Good enough for babies but not adults? I know some seniors have no other choice but to eat this way so get over yourselves..
