Norrie May-Welby feels neither male nor female.
Norrie May-Welby was born male in Scotland and moved to Australia at the age of 7. Two decades and one year later, May-Welby had a sex change but soon discovered that life as a woman wasn’t working either.
“The concepts of man or woman don’t fit me,” May-Welby recently stated. “The simplest solution is not to have any sex identification.”
New South Wales government officials eventually agreed to revise the individual’s birth certificate to reflect “no specific sex” after physicians were unable to make a gender determination. (The New York Daily News)
