NBC Gets F-Bombed on Live TV During Shaun White’s Win
Shaun White’s coach accidentally fills NBC airwaves with profanity.
It was an emotional night last night for Olympic snowboarder Shaun White, and NBC aired it all on live TV for everyone to see. Bad decision.
So far, the Winter Games have been airing on tape delay, so popular events that take place during the day aren’t shown until prime-time hours. But for Shaun White’s competition, NBC decided to go live.
So, cameras caught the uncensored moment when White’s coach was pumping him up for a win, telling him to “stomp the shit” out of the half-pipe. NBC was surely cringing, but the motivation worked for White. He had an awesome run, filled with tricks, that won him the gold medal.
White’s coach then congratulated him, saying, “Way to effing go, man.” Immediately afterwards, NBC announcers scrambled to apologize for the “language.” We say, it was an emotional and touching moment between a coach and his athlete, regardless of the F-bombs. (Newser, Huffington Post)
