Nancy Kerrigan’s Dad’s Death a Homicide
DA still deciding whether or not to charge Nancy’s brother with murder.
Olympic figure skater Nancy Kerrigan is grieving over the loss of her 70-year-old father, Daniel, who died on January 24, and the current state of her family. Her brother Mark was arrested and charged with assault and battery for beating up their father just before he died.
Now, it has been confirmed that this case is definitely a homicide. According to a medical examiner in Middlesex County, Mass. who examined Daniel’s body, the cause of death was cardiac arrest “following a physical altercation with neck compression causing injury to the neck.”
The DA has yet to make a move to charge Nancy’s brother with murder, even though there is now clear evidence that it was a homicide. Mark pleaded not guilty to the charges he was originally arrested for, and has been under psychiatric observation ever since. (Newser)
