New Ad Too Sexy for TV?
Lane Bryant is having trouble getting their sexy new plus-size lingerie commercial to air on TV.
Whenever a Victoria’s Secret commercial comes on TV, do you find that your guy all of a sudden becomes unresponsive for 30 seconds? They can’t help it, and we sure can’t blame them – those commercials are damn sexy.
Clothing store Lane Bryant is going for the same affect with their latest ad to promote their new lingerie line, Cacique Intimates. The ad features a sexy plus-size model strutting around her (fabulous) house wearing nothing more than bra and panty sets (sounds very familiar, right?).
But Lane Bryant claims networks have been reluctant to play the ad, deeming it too sexy with “too much cleavage.” Fox has agreed to play it during American Idol on April 28, but besides that, Lane Bryant is struggling to get the spot some play time.
